Occasionally I did some field training in the past months but most times the ground was too wet to do proper turns and/or sprinting, so minimal training.
Then this weekend I tried the first training on a perfect field with light WFD, turns were pretty good and reproducible, six throws around 50 feet (one exactly 50 feet), next time I'll do some filming. Stone also with a turn but still not fast enough.
Sounds good, but.... I have a bruised heel, Walking is uncomfortable or painful. Although walking is a problem I can do my spinning on the field without too much pain.
My doctor was already pointing out that the healing process is very long. So this year only one or two competitions.
