Wim Vandenbroucke

PictureCabertossing improving every year
Wim is Born in 1971 (July 9) and lives in Snellegem (West Flanders - Belgium). He's 6 ft and weighs 220 lbs, works as a plumber and is married for  25 years with Karine Deruytter. His favourite events are hammer throwing and caber tossing.

His first experience with this sport was ten years ago with teams for Highland Games, were his strongholds were Farmerswalk and Herculeshold. Now he's training for
a different league: Heavy Events. His training combines now strength and explosiveness. Wim made good progress in his second year of competition and his goal is to compete in the Masters World Championships Highland Games. It will be just a matter of time before he will succeed in qualifying for competing at the highest level.
