August 2012
August 1 - Dutch/Belgian competition
It may still be possible for Wybe Zeilstra to regain his title if.....Wulbert Stam is not competing in the finals (points in the final are doubled!). Wybe was the
only Dutchman who tossed the caber uphill in his last international competiton.
Wulbert, due to an injury, did not compete in the Open Dutch Masters. Hopefully he will be back for the next competiton in Harlingen.
The base for masters competiton remains small but will hopefully attract more competitors. Competition for first place is very close!
Wulbert Stam has 72 points and Wybe Zeilstra has 64 points. The other three had only one competion done so they have minimal points.
Here are the Dutch/Belgian Masters competition standings so far.

4. Godfried Kleinmeijer
5. Elroy van Wijngaarden
